2019 Event Invitation

Worked alongside Development Director to develop theme and event materials for annual fundraising gala. We raised over $100,000 compared with $75,000 the previous two years.
2020 Event Invitation

Collaborated with event team to create theme and all visual materials for annual fundraising gala to celebrate mentoring over 10,000 girls.
Led effort to pivot event to a successful virtual format over Zoom in a 1-month timeframe due to the pandemic. Resulting event matched the amount raised in 2017 and 2018 between live giving during event and auction afterwards.

2019 End of Year Mailer

Created End of Year giving campaign alongside development team, including a fold-out calendar to remind people of the power of girls all year (and encourage donations all year).
2018 Highlights

Produced a shorter version of the annual report in a newsletter format to send out to a large donor base alongside a segmented donor letter to encourage giving.

Logo Introduction

Unveiled AfricAid’s new logo through a video describing how the visual represents AfricAid’s brand and mission to mentor girls, develop leaders, and transform communities. I also led the logo development process in collaboration with a graphic design, Tanzanian, and US teams.
Transition Announcement

Created a video to accompany an email sharing the news of a leadership transition in Tanzania. The goal was to celebrate achievements from the past eight years and provide reassurance of a bright future. They added in the light-hearted moments to make it even better.
Virtual Pride Parade

Submitted WINGS’ entry to the Virtual Pride Parade early in the pandemic to highlight WINGS’ values and support for LGBTQ+ survivors.
